David McCallum, also known as Ravie Davie, found solace in wrestling after his mother's death at a young age. Struggling with gang involvement and prison stints in his youth, he turned his life around through the sport. Now, at 31, he runs a wrestling school in Govan, Glasgow, using his experiences to mentor children as young as five.
Inspired by his grandmother's support for his wrestling passion, David aims to provide a positive outlet for youth in the community. His journey from troubled teen to successful wrestler led him to establish the Glasgow School of Wrestling, catering to various age groups and backgrounds. The school not only teaches wrestling techniques but also fosters confidence, goal-setting, and self-expression among its members.
