Sterling graduate and Nebraska volleyball alum Lexi Rodriguez is a finalist for the AAU Sullivan Award, recognizing exceptional collegiate and Olympic athletes. The other finalists include Trey Augustine, Cooper Flagg, Ashton Jeanty, Lee Kiefer, and Ilia Malinin, representing various sports disciplines.
The AAU Sullivan Award, established in 1930, honors athletes for their athletic prowess, leadership qualities, citizenship, character, and sportsmanship on and off the field. The winner is chosen through public vote and will be celebrated at an awards ceremony at the New York Athletic Club. Rodriguez, a standout player with a notable career at Nebraska, holds numerous accolades and currently competes professionally for LOVB Omaha, showcasing her talent and dedication to the sport.
