The Lady Bulldogs claimed victory in the Second Annual Ron Raver Relays team title held at Batesville, honoring a former track and field coach with over 60 years of dedication to the sport. The event featured seven boys' teams and six girls' teams competing for the team titles, with a format comprising field events with two athletes per school and mainly relay races, along with the 100m and 110m hurdles as individual events.
In the boys' competition, Decatur Central secured the team title with 104 points, while Batesville followed closely with 92 points. Franklin County placed third with 65 points, Jennings County fourth with 64, Rushville fifth with 40, Milan sixth with 19, and Tindley seventh with 2 points. The meet showcased a display of talent and sportsmanship among the participating schools, contributing to a spirited and competitive atmosphere in honor of the esteemed coach.
