The Jamestown High School girls track and field team faced tough competition at the Bismarck Public Schools Invite, finishing 11th out of 11 teams with 11 points. Bismarck Century claimed victory with 132 points. Despite the challenging meet, several athletes achieved notable performances, including Claire Marker setting a personal best in the 400m dash and Julia Skari placing third in the 300m hurdles.
The team will continue competing on April 24 at Valley City State University. Notable individual achievements from the meet included Addison Marker placing 18th in shot put, Jozie Davis finishing 10th in the 100 hurdles, and Hayden Olson securing ninth place in triple jump. Overall, the Jamestown High School track and field team demonstrated resilience and individual successes amidst tough competition at the recent event.
