The 2025 high school softball district tournament assignments and sites have been announced by the Northwest District Athletic Board in Mansfield, Ohio. Teams in Richland County now have knowledge of their district tournament locations and potential opponents as they aim for district championships. The district tournament draw, determining seeding and bracket placements, is scheduled for May 4.
In Division III, six teams including Ashland, Tiffin Columbian, Madison, Mansfield Senior, Norwalk, and Sandusky will compete for the district championship at 400 Dean Avenue in Willard. Meanwhile, in Division IV, Clear Fork, Lexington, Ontario, Shelby, Upper Sandusky, and Vermilion will vie for the title at Heise Park in Galion. Lastly, Division V and VI tournaments will be held at Clyde High School and Shelby High School, respectively, featuring teams such as Crestview, Edison, Galion, and Buckeye Central, among others. The winners of each district championship will advance to regional semifinals against winners from other districts.
