IndyStar is recognizing top softball players in Indiana through its players of the week poll, presented by YMCA of Greater Indianapolis. Winners will be honored at the Indiana High School Sports Awards event on April 27.
Lake Central's Maddie Such and Concord's Morgan Weatherholt were named co-Players of the Week for their outstanding performances. Other top performers included players like Crafton, Elliott, Feczko, and Hilliard, showcasing exceptional stats in batting, pitching, and fielding.
Numerous players stood out with notable achievements during the week, such as Jones' impressive pitching and Leugers hitting for the cycle. Seiler and Rutherford also showcased strong performances on the mound and at the plate, contributing significantly to their teams' successes.
