In South Jersey softball during the second week of April, standout players emerged from various teams across the region. Emily Faux of Delran showcased her prowess with five hits and six RBIs in two games, maintaining a batting average of .680. Ciana Knight from Bordentown contributed significantly, going 5-for-7 with four RBIs and six runs scored, boosting her season batting average to .462. Lily Rossi of Riverside impressed with a season-best five RBIs, maintaining a .481 batting average and striking out 71 batters in 40 innings.
Jordyn Ambrosius of West Deptford displayed her versatility by homering, driving in five runs, and pitching three scoreless innings in a 15-0 victory over Gateway. Julianna Cruz of Sterling had a standout performance with four hits, two walks, and six RBIs in a game against Gateway. Cali Taylor from Cherokee delivered a dominant pitching performance with a one-hitter and 18 strikeouts in a 6-0 win over Shawnee, while also going 3-for-3 with a double, homer, and three RBIs at the plate.
