Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee will miss the remainder of the season due to a hamstring injury, as confirmed by manager Ruben Amorim. The 23-year-old Netherlands international sustained the injury during the team's 4-1 Premier League defeat against Newcastle.
Zirkzee, who joined United from Bologna in July, had shown improved form in 2025 after a slow start to the season. Despite scoring in the Europa League quarterfinals against Lyon, his injury rules him out for the season. Alongside Lisandro Martinez, Zirkzee will be absent for the rest of the campaign, while Amad Diallo may still make a comeback from ankle ligament damage suffered in February. In the upcoming game against Lyon, players like Matthijs de Ligt, Ayden Heaven, and Toby Collyer remain sidelined, with Jonny Evans also unavailable despite training with the team.
