Despite efforts to manage the situation, fans rushed the stadium, bypassing security measures and causing delays to the match. Recommendations from the report include tracking social media for potential threats, extending security perimeters, and implementing electronic ticketing to prevent fraud and duplication. Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava expressed outrage over the incident and pledged a review, while Hard Rock Stadium, the venue for the event, will host seven FIFA World Cup matches in 2026.
