Newcastle Falcons director of rugby Steve Diamond has been banned for the remainder of the season due to inappropriate language directed at match-day officials. Diamond referred to the group of referees using derogatory language and also insinuated that one of them should retire. The ban was imposed in response to his behavior towards the officials during a recent match.
