North Palm Beach Rowing Club secured a victory at the Florida State Championship by taking down Sarasota Crew, ending their 14-year winning streak. The girls varsity quad team, consisting of Myla Chance, Kaitlyn DeMaria, Phillippa Bouman, and Chloe Ryder, claimed first place in the event. In addition to this win, the club also secured victories in other categories, including a freshman doubles trophy and silver medals in the girls lightweight double and boys freshman singles events.
Despite the significant difference in size, with Sarasota Crew boasting over 400 members compared to North Palm Beach Rowing Club's 60, the latter emerged victorious on race day. Briauna Jia-Li Brown and Adele Schwinghammer also achieved success in the freshman double event, adding to the club's accomplishments.
