By Scores.wiki Staff · March 25, 2026 at 09:37 PM ET

Siblings Kolton and Kaylee King, natives of Red Bluff, California, will showcase their rodeo skills in their hometown for the first time. Kolton, a graduate of Red Bluff High School, competes in team roping, while Kaylee, a cosmetology school graduate, participates in barrel racing. Both have experience in junior high, high school, collegiate, and regional rodeo competitions.

Their father, Jake King, a former PRCA bareback rider, and mother, Tayna King, who excelled in cutting horse disciplines, instilled a love for horses in them. Kaylee will ride a borrowed mare for the barrel racing event, while Kolton will use a borrowed horse for team roping with Dusty Bravos. Kaylee owns a salon, providing her the flexibility to pursue rodeo, while Kolton works in horse training.

The Round-Up, in its 104th year, will feature 700 contestants, including defending champions like RC Landingham, Stetson Jorgensen, Riley Webb, Hayle Gibson, and Josie Conner. The event will take place at Tehama District Fairgrounds from Friday to Sunday, with ticket prices ranging from $20 to $40 and available for purchase online, at the Round-Up Museum, and at the gate.
