Shocking NFL Suspension: 49ers Star OT Isaac Alarcón Benched for Six Games!

By Scores.wiki Staff · March 25, 2026 at 09:37 PM ET

San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle Isaac Alarcón has been suspended by the NFL for the first six games of the 2025 season for violating the league's performance-enhancing substances policy. Alarcón, 26, is part of the international player pathway program and joined the 49ers in early 2024 after starting his career as an undrafted free agent with the Cowboys in 2020. Despite being eligible for offseason practices and preseason games, he has not yet played in a regular-season NFL game.

The suspension leaves the 49ers without a key depth piece along the offensive line for the early part of the upcoming season. Alarcón, who transitioned from defensive tackle to offensive tackle during his career, spent the previous season on San Francisco's practice squad before signing a futures deal to stay with the team in 2025.
