The Manatee High boys lacrosse team was voted as the Herald-Tribune Top Team by Carl Reynolds Law for March, securing 46.38% of the votes after going 6-3 in the month and finishing the season ranked 12th in Class 2A and 27th overall. The selection is part of a monthly feature by the Herald-Tribune to recognize exceptional achievements, grit, and sportsmanship among area high school sports programs in Sarasota and Manatee.
Among the 11 nominees for March were Cardinal Mooney beach volleyball, Lakewood Ranch flag football, and other notable teams like Manatee girls lacrosse and Venice baseball. The voting process allows the community to participate in deciding which team deserves the title of Herald-Tribune Top Team sponsored by Carl Reynolds Law. The next list of nominees and the Top Teams poll for April will be released on Tuesday, May 6 at heraldtribune.com.
