After considering an NHL offer for two weeks, UND defenseman Abram Wiebe has decided to return for his junior season. The 6-foot-3 defender had a breakout sophomore year, scoring four goals and tallying 24 points in 38 games. His return strengthens UND's defensive lineup, alongside key players like Jake Livanavage, E.J. Emery, and Bennett Zmolek.
Wiebe expressed excitement about the upcoming season under new head coach Dane Jackson. UND is also bolstering its forward ranks, adding players like Anthony Menghini and USHL goal-scoring champion Will Zellers. The team aims to build on its promising young talent and compete at a high level in the upcoming season.
