Missouri Tigers’ gymnastics team reached the Final Four for the first time in program history, placing second in the Elite Eight session by narrowly beating Florida with a score of 197.3000-197.2000. Led by Kennedy Griffin and Jocelyn Moore, the Tigers excelled in various events, securing top rankings in the floor exercise, vault, uneven bars, and balance beam.
Mizzou posted impressive team scores throughout the competition, culminating in a strong showing on the balance beam where Helen Hu claimed the title with a score of 9.9875. With this historic achievement, the Tigers are guaranteed their best finish ever regardless of the outcome in the Final Four. Oklahoma and two other teams from the Elite Eight will join Missouri in the Final Four competition.
