LSU Tigers are competing in the 2025 NCAA women's gymnastics championship semifinals without star gymnast Livvy Dunne due to an avulsion fracture in her kneecap. This injury has kept her out of competition since March and may take up to 12 weeks to heal, as per the Cleveland Clinic.
Dunne, a social media influencer and girlfriend of Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes, has been limited to competing in only four meets this season. Her absence poses a challenge for LSU, who aims to defend their national championship and secure back-to-back titles, alongside Oklahoma, this decade. The Tigers will face tough competition from No. 4 seed Utah, No. 5 seed UCLA, and No. 8 seed Michigan State in the semifinals at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
