Hillsdale Academy Colts and Hillsdale boys golf teams had their first nine-hole dual of the 2025 spring sports season, preparing for upcoming league events in the SCAA and LCAA. Senior golfer Kahle Welden led the Colts with a top score of five over par at 40, securing a team win over Hillsdale with a final score of 176-216. Other standout Colts include Edward Keaster, Lincoln Knirk, Vincent Reagle, and Grayson Young.
Hillsdale Hornets were led by senior Brahm Gambill, with other top performers including Julian Harman, Nice Muangprom, and Ben Lutz. The Hillsdale team will compete at the LCAA boys golf season opener at Baw Beese golf course on April 21. Meanwhile, Hillsdale Academy will participate in the PGA Reach Invitational at Michigan State University's Forest Akers West golf course, followed by the SCAA jamboree at Ella Sharp Park in Jackson hosted by Jackson Christian on the same day.
