Bethesda Academy's Quentin Brooks, a talented golfer who first started playing at 9 years old with the First Tee-Savannah, signed to play golf at Savannah State University. Brooks secured a second-place finish in the 2024 SCISA Class 2A tournament and notably participated in the Pure Insurance Championship at Pebble Beach Golf Links alongside Tim O'Neal. O'Neal, a Champions Tour member, had a significant impact on Brooks' development, with both players hailing from Savannah.
