The Cleveland Browns surprised fans by selecting Uniontown native Andrew Kennedy as their first-round pick in the CrossCountry Mortgage Dedicated Dawgs Sweepstakes leading up to the 2025 NFL draft. Kennedy, accompanied by his family, visited the team's Berea headquarters for a special behind-the-scenes tour and received the official announcement of his selection from Browns' general manager Andrew Berry.
During the visit, Browns' chief marketing officer and team mascot Chomps presented Kennedy and his family with a grand prize check of $25,000, an official team jersey and hat, as well as an NFL Salute to Service helmet honoring Kennedy's military background. The total value of the prizes awarded to Kennedy exceeded $50,000.
