Purdue long snapper Nick Levy, who started all 12 games for the Boilermakers in 2024, has announced his decision to enter the transfer portal with one year of eligibility remaining. Levy, who joined Purdue last season after a successful stint at William & Mary, earned a 70.5 Pro Football Focus grade and received All-Big Ten honorable mention honors for his performance.
Levy's initial entry into the transfer portal last December was followed by a return to Purdue for spring practice, but he has now opted to explore other opportunities. With Levy's departure, Purdue is left with incoming freshman Justin Schmidt as the sole long snapper on the roster for the upcoming season. Another long snapper, redshirt sophomore Claude Strnad, has also entered the transfer portal, potentially leaving Purdue in search of additional talent in that position.
