The Houston Texans hosted Ole Miss wide receiver Tre Harris for a top-30 visit as part of their draft preparations. The 6-foot-2 Louisiana product is projected to be a second-round pick and has also scheduled visits with the Chicago Bears and Washington Commanders. Harris transferred to Ole Miss in 2023 and quickly became a key player, demonstrating strong performance until sidelined by a hamstring injury in 2024.

Known for his deep routes and contested catches, Harris has shown his speed with a 4.54 40-time at the combine. With the Texans looking to bolster their receiving options alongside Nico Collins, Harris could potentially fill that role in Round 2 of the draft. The Texans have multiple picks, including four in the top 100, aiming to enhance quarterback C.J. Stroud's support in the upcoming season.
