Retired footballer Carlos Tevez is planning a farewell game in Buenos Aires, aiming to have former teammates Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi participate in the event. While the date is yet to be determined, Tevez expressed his intentions during an interview on the Olga streaming platform, mentioning the challenge of coordinating the schedules of the two renowned players who have collectively won 13 Ballon d'Or awards.
Tevez, who retired in 2022 after a successful career in the Premier League and Serie A, anticipates the farewell game to take place at Boca Juniors' La Bombonera stadium, where he aims to gather Messi and Ronaldo on opposing teams. Having shared the pitch with Messi in the Argentine national team and with Ronaldo at Manchester United, where they secured multiple titles, including two Premier League championships and a Champions League victory, Tevez remains in contact with the football superstars post-retirement. Despite coaching stints with Rosario Central and Independiente in Argentina, Tevez is currently unaffiliated with a club as he prepares for this significant farewell event.
