Former Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald was granted a temporary restraining order against Janelle Anware, who has allegedly been stalking him and his family since 2020. The order requires Anwar to stay 100 yards away from Donald, his wife, brother, and children, and prohibits contact, harassment, and firearm possession. A hearing is scheduled for May 7 to determine a long-term order.
Donald filed a civil harassment restraining order against Anware, stating that she began harassing him with threatening emails in 2020 and escalated to sending packages and stalking. Anwar allegedly sent threatening messages regarding Donald's son and falsely claimed to be married to Donald. Anwar's petition for spousal support and settlement was filed without Donald's knowledge. Donald retired from the NFL in March 2024 after a decorated 10-year career with the Rams, including multiple Pro Bowl appearances, All-Pro selections, Defensive Player of the Year awards, and a Super Bowl victory.
