Former Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald was granted a temporary restraining order on April 15, 2025, against Janelle Anwar, a woman accused of harassing and stalking him and his family since 2020. The order mandates Anwar to stay 100 yards away from Donald, his wife, their four children, and his brother, and prohibits her from contacting or harassing them, as well as possessing firearms.
The petition filed by Donald, a three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year and Super Bowl LVI champion, detailed instances of threatening emails, packages, and gifts sent by Anwar over the years. The situation escalated in March 2025 when Anwar allegedly threatened the life of Donald's three-year-old son via Google Chat. Anwar's belief that she is married to Donald, despite never having met him, led her to file for dissolution of a nonexistent marriage, demanding monthly payments and a settlement. A hearing for a permanent restraining order is set for May 7, 2025.
