Kale Pearson, former Air Force general manager and director of recruiting/NFL liaison, has been appointed as the new director of high school recruiting for the Oklahoma football team. A Tulsa native, Pearson brings experience from his time with the Falcons since 2022, where he played as the starting quarterback during Air Force's successful 2014 season, which included winning the Commander-In-Chief's trophy.

Pearson's recent appointment to the role on Jim Nagy's staff has been reflected in his updated X and LinkedIn profiles. While the official announcement from Oklahoma is pending, Pearson has already extended welcomes to the team's latest portal transfers. With a background in coaching and military service, Pearson's transition back to Oklahoma follows his tenure at various Air Force bases and his high school football success at Union, where he won three state championships. His father, Preston, was also involved in coaching during Pearson's high school career.

Taylor Redd, hired as assistant general manager in March, shares a similar background with Pearson, having previously worked as director of player personnel at Wake Forest and as a former NFL scout. Pearson's diverse experiences in football and military service bring a unique perspective to his new role within the Oklahoma football program.
