Oklahoma cornerback Jocelyn Malaska, a redshirt junior, is seeking a transfer after spending one season with the Sooners. Malaska initially joined Oklahoma as a preferred walk-on in 2024 following two scholarship years at Utah. With two years of eligibility remaining, he has re-entered the transfer portal.
A native of Bethany, Oklahoma, Malaska shifted from Texas Tech to Utah as a three-star recruit. His tenure at Utah was marred by injuries, limiting his playing time to eight games over two seasons. At Oklahoma, Malaska had minimal game exposure, featuring briefly in one match against Temple. His departure streamlines the Sooners' cornerback unit, which includes starters Gentry Williams and Eli Bowen, along with experienced players Jacobe Johnson, Devon Jordan, and Jeremiah Newcombe, supported by freshmen Maliek Hawkins, Courtland Guillory, and Trystan Haynes.
