Michigan offensive lineman Brady Norton, formerly of FCS Cal Poly, received offers from power four ACC schools after entering the transfer portal. Despite interest from Ohio State, Norton chose U-M, expressing surprise and excitement at the opportunity.
Growing up a UCLA and Notre Dame fan, Norton once disliked Michigan but now embraces the program. The prospect of playing for a blue blood program with a successful history and the chance to compete in front of large crowds influenced his decision to join the Wolverines.
Norton, adjusting to the higher level of play at Michigan, has impressed teammates and coaches with his work ethic and physicality. Despite some challenges in spring practices, he is determined to earn a spot in the starting lineup and looks forward to experiencing the atmosphere at Michigan Stadium.
