In the 2024 season, he threw for 2,844 yards with 16 touchdowns and 11 interceptions, while also accumulating 726 rushing yards and 20 scores. Although he boasts a 21-6 overall record as a starter, his performance this season was marked by a 9-4 record, including losses to Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and Michigan.
