Georgia Tech defensive back Syeed Gibbs is set to enter the transfer portal as reported by ESPN's Max Olson. Gibbs transferred to Georgia Tech after playing two seasons at Rhode Island, where he amassed 54 tackles, three interceptions, and six passes defended over 14 games.
During the 2024 season, Gibbs played 10 games for Georgia Tech, starting six, and recorded 22 total tackles, four tackles-for-loss, and one sack. He will have two years of eligibility left as he seeks a new college football program. Gibbs began his collegiate career unranked as a cornerback out of Everett High in Massachusetts before making his mark at Rhode Island and Georgia Tech.
