Cornerback Will Johnson, a former Michigan standout, recently participated in drills for NFL teams at a workout session earlier this week and is concluding his pre-draft visits with a meeting at the Seattle Seahawks facility. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media confirmed Johnson's visit with the team on Wednesday. Although Johnson did not play under Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald at Michigan, they shared connections within the football program.
The Seahawks, holding the 18th overall pick, previously selected Devon Witherspoon in the first round two years ago and currently have Riq Woolen and Josh Jobe in their cornerback lineup. Johnson faced setbacks due to injuries in the 2024 season, including a hamstring issue that delayed his workout, omitting the 40-yard dash. Despite this, he showcased high productivity for the Wolverines, notably securing three interception returns for touchdowns in his final two college seasons.
