The Cleveland Browns have signed former Arizona Cardinals outside linebacker Julian Okwara. Okwara, who previously played for the Detroit Lions, spent last season with the Cardinals after being released by the Philadelphia Eagles.
During his time with the Cardinals, Okwara appeared in 13 games, starting in one, and recorded 18 total tackles, three tackles for loss, a sack, two quarterback hits, and a tipped pass. Despite not being retained by the Cardinals, Okwara now has the opportunity to compete for a spot on the Browns' roster. His contract with the Browns is not expected to impact the Cardinals' compensatory draft picks for free agency.
