Former Tennessee quarterback Nico Iamaleava has entered the NCAA transfer portal on the first day of the spring transfer window, with a do not contact tag attached. Matt Zenitz of 247Sports reported that there is little movement between Iamaleava and UCLA, indicating uncertainty about his market value.
During his time at Tennessee from 2023-24, Iamaleava played in 18 games, completing 241-of-379 passing attempts for 2,930 yards, 21 touchdowns, and five interceptions. He also showcased his versatility with 435 rushing yards and six touchdowns on 129 attempts. Tennessee had a successful season last year, finishing with a 10-3 record (6-2 SEC) and earning their first-ever College Football Playoff berth.
