Aliquippa football's strength and conditioning coach, Colton Rossi, initiated the youth camp "Train like a Quip" in 2021 to give back to the community. Due to the success of the inaugural camp, Rossi is hosting the event again on May 16, with the support of Aliquippa's coaching staff and former high school football stars, including Cameron Lindsey and current Pitt linebacker.
The free camp welcomes children aged 6-14 from Western, Pa., of all skill levels to participate in drills, enhance their skills, and compete with others under the guidance of experienced coaches and players. Campers will have the opportunity to interact with athletes, receive prizes, and enjoy food courtesy of the Darrelle Revis Foundation. Registration for the camp can be done via email or online form, with the event scheduled from 5-7 p.m. on May 16, fostering skill development, competition, and mentorship for aspiring young athletes.
