San Francisco 49ers practice squad offensive lineman Isaac Alarcon has been suspended for six games by the NFL for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances. The suspension, announced by the NFL on Wednesday, allows Alarcon to participate in the offseason program, training camp, and exhibitions before it takes effect. Alarcon, who joined the league through the international pathway program with Dallas in 2020, has yet to play in a regular-season game. Despite playing 43 preseason snaps last year, he spent the season on the 49ers' practice squad and was re-signed earlier this offseason by the team.
