Three Michigan State football players have entered the transfer portal during the 10-day spring window. Defensive end Anthony Jones, defensive back DJ Kennard, and reserve long snapper Jack Carson-Wentz are the players seeking transfers, as confirmed by a program spokesman. Jones, a 6-foot-4, 260-pound Las Vegas native, will be looking for his fourth school in as many years, having played at Oregon, Indiana, and MSU in previous seasons.

Carson-Wentz, a preferred walk-on from Georgia, took over long snapping duties for MSU after an injury to the starter and will be transferring for the fourth time after stints at Lenoir-Rhyne and West Georgia. Kennard, a 6-3, 190-pound player who redshirted last year, enrolled in 2024 as part of coach Jonathan Smith's first class. The transfer portal remains open until April 25, with MSU wrapping up its final spring practice this Saturday.
