North Carolina linebackers Cade Law and Crews Law, who previously played at Christ Presbyterian Academy in Nashville, Tennessee, entered the NCAA transfer portal during the spring window. Crews Law was the recipient of the Division II-A Tennessee Mr. Football award in 2023. In 2024, Crews Law made appearances in two games as a true freshman at North Carolina, while redshirt junior Cade Law played in 24 games for the Tar Heels from 2023 to 2024, registering three tackles, one tackle for a loss, and one sack. Cade Law transitioned to football at North Carolina after a season of baseball at Vanderbilt.
During his time at Christ Presbyterian Academy, Crews Law accumulated impressive stats with 269 tackles, 20 sacks, and 19 tackles for a loss, in addition to rushing for 641 yards and 23 touchdowns in his final two seasons. Cade Law showcased versatility as a four-year letterman in both quarterback and linebacker positions, amassing 4,900 passing yards, 1,800 rushing yards, and 90 total touchdowns.
