Jordan Houlden of Britain secured his first global title by winning gold in the men's 3m springboard event at the Diving World Cup in Canada, scoring 470.85 points. Houlden's victory, more than 30 points ahead of the USA's Carson Tyler, was unexpected as he initially aimed for a lower placement. China's Zheng Jiuyan took bronze in the competition.

At the same event in Windsor, British diver Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix claimed bronze in the women's 10m platform, with a score of 348.20. She narrowly beat her compatriot Maisie Bond by 23.85 points. Additionally, Bond and Lois Toulson secured bronze in the 10m synchro event with a score of 275.16. The Diving World Cup is part of a three-stage event, with the Super Final scheduled in Beijing from 2 to 4 May.
