Youtuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul is set to fight former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in California on June 28. The 28-year-old American, known for his controversial boxing career, will face the 39-year-old Chavez Jr, son of boxing legend Julio Cesar Chavez, who has a record of 53 wins in 61 fights, including holding the WBC middleweight title from 2011 to 2012.
Paul, who gained fame on YouTube before transitioning to boxing, has 11 wins under his belt, with his only loss to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023. Chavez Jr, on the other hand, has faced notable opponents like Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and Anderson Silva, showcasing his experience in the ring. The upcoming bout is expected to take place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, featuring a 10-round cruiserweight match with standard 10oz gloves for both fighters.
