West Virginia's JJ Quinerly was chosen by the Dallas Wings as the second pick in the third round of the 2025 WNBA Draft, marking her transition to the professional basketball realm. During her time at West Virginia University, Quinerly established herself as one of the top performers in the history of the WVU women's basketball program. She became the seventh player in West Virginia's basketball history, across both men's and women's teams, to exceed 2,000 career points. Quinerly was also recognized twice as the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year.
