Sheri Kleinsasser Stockmoe, a standout UND women's basketball player from the early 1990s, is set to be inducted into the North Dakota Sports Hall of Fame in Jamestown this summer, alongside three other inductees. The ceremony, scheduled for June 21 at the Jamestown Civic Center, will honor Stockmoe's remarkable career achievements, including being a four-time All-North Central Conference selection, two-time All-American, and the recipient of several prestigious awards.

Joining Stockmoe in the 2025 Hall of Fame class are Gary Eslinger, Randy Hedberg, and Tim Olson. Eslinger, a former standout football player at the University of Minnesota, earned multiple accolades during his college career and went on to be selected by the Denver Broncos in the 2006 NFL draft. Hedberg, a North Dakota native and seasoned coach, has had a successful career mentoring quarterbacks at North Dakota State, with several of his proteges going on to be drafted into the NFL. Meanwhile, Olson, a Bismarck native, transitioned from a successful baseball career with the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies after his college baseball days at the University of Florida.

The North Dakota Sports Hall of Fame ceremony will also pay tribute to Cliff Cushman, a Grand Forks native and Olympian who tragically lost his life in the Vietnam War. This year's inductees will receive the prestigious Cliff Cushman Award in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the world of sports.
