During the 2025 WNBA Draft in New York, Paige Bueckers, a member of UConn's championship team, witnessed her teammates Kaitlyn Chen and Aubrey Griffin getting selected in the draft. Chen was picked as the 30th overall by the Golden State Valkyries, while Griffin joined the Minnesota Lynx in the third round.
