Tajh Ariza Makes Surprising Transfer to St. John Bosco

By Scores.wiki Staff · March 25, 2026 at 09:36 PM ET

Tajh Ariza, the 6-foot-9 junior, has transferred from Westchester High to St. John Bosco after a one-year stint at his father's alma mater. Ariza, who led Westchester to a City Section Open Division championship and earned City Section co-player of the year honors, had previously attended St. Bernard before moving to Westchester. He reunites with former St. Bernard teammate Christian Collins at St. John Bosco, potentially forming a strong trio with returnee Brandon McCoy for the Braves.

In order to be immediately eligible at St. John Bosco, Ariza would need to change residences. His father, Trevor, a former Westchester standout who also found success at UCLA and in the NBA, had previously led Westchester to a City title.
