Bryce James, a three-star guard and son of NBA star LeBron James, officially signed with the Arizona Wildcats men's basketball team on April 17. The signing was announced through a video message to fans released by the school, where James expressed his excitement to join the team and get to work. Ranked 257th among 2025 players in the 247 composite rankings, James had earlier verbally committed to Arizona on Instagram on January 1, choosing the Wildcats over offers from Ohio State and Duquesne.
The 6-foot-4 shooting guard was won over by Arizona after visiting the campus during a game against Duke at the McKale Center. James, a senior at Sierra Canyon School in Southern California, follows in the footsteps of his older brother Bronny, who played for USC last season and was drafted by the Lakers. Arizona's recruiting class also includes other notable signings like Gilbert Perry star and McDonald's All-American Koa Peat and Brayden Burries.
