Utah Valley transfer guard Tanner Toolson is considering Iowa and TCU as his final two options after taking visits to both schools. The 6-foot-5 junior-to-be averaged 13.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game while shooting 45.3% from the field and 34.9% from 3-point range last season with Utah Valley.
Toolson, who previously visited BYU and Utah State, trimmed his choices to Iowa and TCU, with Gonzaga and Xavier also in the mix before being excluded. The guard started all 34 games for Utah Valley, contributing to the team's WAC regular-season championship and NIT appearance. He began his collegiate career at BYU before transferring to Utah Valley, where he achieved a 79.2% free-throw success rate and scored double digits in 25 games last season.
