The Oak Ridge City Council recognized the achievements of the Oak Ridge High School Wildcats and Lady Wildcats basketball teams along with their coaches during the council's monthly meeting at the Central Services Complex on April 14. The boys' team secured the runner-up spot in the TSSAA Class 4A High School Basketball Tournament, while the girls' team clinched the Region 2 championship and advanced to the state tournament, reaching the final eight in their category.
