Kam Craft, a former guard for Xavier Musketeers and Miami RedHawks, has committed to Georgia Tech in the ACC after entering the transfer portal in March. The 6-6 sophomore averaged 13.6 PPG and shot 43% from three-point range during his time with Miami, helping the team achieve a 25-9 record and reach the MAC Tournament Championship game. Craft was a former four-star recruit who began his collegiate career at Xavier.

Craft had attracted interest from various high-major programs and had scheduled visits to Dayton and DePaul before deciding on Georgia Tech. Initially recruited as a four-star player from Chicago, Craft remained with Xavier through a coaching change, playing under Sean Miller for 15 games as a freshman. After missing the entire 2023-24 season with Xavier, Craft entered the transfer portal and ultimately chose Georgia Tech as his new collegiate home. He was ranked as a three-star transfer and the No. 72 shooting guard in the portal by 247Sports.
