Drury guard Caitlynn Daniels, a graduate student from Robins, Iowa, with a 4.0 GPA in communications, was named an Academic All-American by the College Sports Communicators. Daniels, who also holds an undergraduate degree in finance from Drury, met the criteria with her stellar academic record and basketball performance, averaging 14.2 points, 6.4 assists, 6 rebounds, and 2.2 steals per game last season.
Daniels achieved notable feats during the season, including registering a triple-double and earning GLVC Player of the Week. She secured a spot on the Academic All-American Third Team, becoming the first Lady Panther to receive this honor since 2023. The Lady Panthers finished the season with a 22-7 record, while Drury's softball team also showed strong performance, leading the GLVC standings and boasting impressive wins. Drury outfielder Sophia Luetticke notably set a single-season stolen bases record and continues to excel in steals and batting performance, ranking among the top players in the GLVC and Division II.
