Luke Loucks has finalized his coaching staff at Florida State University by hiring Sacramento Kings assistant coach Jim Moran as the associate head coach/offensive coordinator. Moran, who just completed his first season with the Kings, brings a wealth of NBA coaching experience despite lacking college coaching background. His journey includes stints with the G-League Maine Red Claws, Portland Trail Blazers, Detroit Pistons, and a head coaching role with the G-League Rip City Remix.
This marks the fifth addition to Loucks' coaching staff, with Moran taking on the role of associate head coach. The team also includes assistant coaches Michael Fly, Gerald Gillion, and Amorrow Morgan, along with Chris Kent as assistant coach/director of player personnel. Additionally, FSU alum Terance Mann has joined as assistant general manager while continuing his NBA career with the Atlanta Hawks. Loucks' staff is now complete following the conclusion of the Kings' 2024-25 season, where they exited the NBA Play-In Tournament with a 120-106 loss to Dallas.
