Arkansas wing Karter Knox has decided to go through the NBA Draft process while maintaining his college eligibility. This move allows him to receive feedback from NBA scouts, work out for teams, and assess areas for improvement if he chooses to return to Arkansas next season. Knox, a 6-foot-6, 220-pound freshman from Tampa, Florida, showcased his skills during the postseason, averaging 13.7 points and 5.0 rebounds in three NCAA Tournament games.
Knox, a former four-star prospect and McDonald’s All-American, originally committed to Kentucky before following coach John Calipari to Arkansas. In his debut season with the Razorbacks, he averaged 8.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game. With a deadline of May 28 to withdraw from the draft and return to school, Knox’s decision adds to the offseason roster considerations for Arkansas.
